“Can I be really honest with you?”
“Sure? Because what I’m about to say might hurt. Just a bit.”
“Remember, you sending me away because you said I would never be happy over there? You didn’t want me wasting my life?”
“Yes, you didn’t seem happy, you became more quiet every day”
“Well.. I wanted to thank you. Thank you for sending me away. I thought I was happy or at least I tried really hard to be happy. Which isn’t right at all.
And this might sound harsh but seriously, I’m grateful. Although there is plenty to worry about, I’m happier now than I was at any point in the UK. I’ve never been this happy and I now know I would have never become this happy in the UK.”
